I tried the cohesion 7 and 8 so I had to try the 9s. I am an Anesthesia tech and work on my feet and walk 8 to 10 miles daily so far I like these. They have good support and are comfortable. I have only been wearing them for 3 days but they seem good. The price was right too. I usually judge shoes by how long they last. The usual life span is 3 to 4 months for shoes for me because of the abuse I put them through.

I have used Saucony Cohesion for several years now and I knew exactly what to expect. If you are a more muscular or heavier runner and need good cushion while not sacrificing performance, then I would highly recommend that you try these! They fit very similarly to Asics, which is the brand I used for years until they decided not to produce the model shoe I used for a couple of years. Have fun and enjoy the road or trail! One other tidbit I have learned over time is that shoe companies change model numbers per year, but they usually dont re-design the shoe, so the Cohesion 8 last year will be the new Cohesion 9 and the Asics model numbers work that way as well. If you used and old 2110, then the 2120 will be the next year and 2130 the year after that. Hope that helps someone.

Years ago I discovered the Saucony Kinvara and loved the weight and how the shoe fit (a lightweight more minimal running shoe). I have a Mortons toe (second toe longer than my big toe) and the shape of Saucony fit best so I bought several pair of the Kinvara. That said, Im an avid runner and was experiencing chronic soleus muscle strain. In addition to compression socks, rollers and muscle rubs - I tried many different brands of shoes to help since the problem developed while wearing my Kinvaras. I tried shoes with more padding and different technologies - Hoka One One Clifton (cushy but rocker technology means minimal heel to toe drop - still had calf pain), Mizuno Wave Prophecy (very uncomfortable and returned), Nike and Adidas (too narrow), Brooks (too stiff). Was about to stop running and start biking and walking but then discovered the solution was a shoe with a high heel to toe drop (12mm or greater). I did a "find a shoe" search and discovered that the Saucony Cohesion 9 had a h

I have been running for nearly 40 years and have of course had many pairs of running shoes. I started out with Nikes and Pumas in the late 1970s and favored addidas for some time before mostly buying Brooks in the last 20 years or so. I have had a couple of pairs of Saucony and the strong suit of this pair along with earlier one (s) is comfort. I dont run a lot of miles now and hardcore runners might find these lacking in certain respects, but for runners in the 10 miles per week range and those that want to wear them to the gym or just like the feel of running shoes for hanging out, these should work very well. Last, many people seem to be critical of Saucony style and I have been one, but a couple of people have complemented me on these. If you are OK with Saucony style, I think you will like the shoes.
